Hello from Pixel Paw Productions
Hi, I'm Wyatt, and this is Pixel Paw Productions: my one-person indie studio, making 3D games with a pixel art look, built in Godot (opens in a new tab).
What I'm making
My first game, Project One (a working title), is a 3D world rendered to look like hand-placed pixel art. Every model is real 3D, but the camera, lighting and shaders snap everything to a crisp pixel grid. You can rotate around the world and it still reads like a sprite-based game.
It's early, and the look is still changing week to week. That's part of the fun of sharing it this soon.
What you'll find here
- Progress updates: what changed, what broke, and what's next
- Shader and rendering notes: how the pixel art look actually works in Godot
- Design thinking: mechanics I'm trying, keeping or throwing out
