Privacy
The short version: I collect your email only if you sign up, use it only to send updates, and never sell or share it. Pixel Paw Productions is one person, so "I" below means me, Wyatt.
What I collect
- Your email address, if you sign up for devlog updates. I store the address, the page you signed up from and the time you signed up. Nothing else.
- Playtest signups, if you join the playtest list. Your email, the platforms you picked, whether you'd join multiplayer tests, and your Discord username if you give it. This list is used only to invite you to playtests.
- Which link you came from. If you arrive through a tagged link (like the one in a social profile), that tag is remembered in your browser tab until you close it and saved with any signup, so I can see which links work. It's not a cookie and isn't used for anything else.
- Anonymous visit statistics. I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see roughly where visitors come from (country, referring site, device type). It doesn't use cookies, doesn't fingerprint you, and doesn't track you across other sites.
This site sets no cookies and has no ads or third-party trackers. Fonts and images are served from this domain.
How I use it
I use your email only to send occasional Pixel Paw Productions updates: devlog posts, playtests and release news. I don't sell, rent or share it with anyone. Newsletter emails are sent through Buttondown (opens in a new tab). Your address (and your IP address, which Buttondown uses to block spam signups) is shared with Buttondown only to deliver these emails. You'll get a confirmation email first, and every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
Where it's stored
This site and its signup lists run on Cloudflare (the lists are in a Cloudflare D1 database). Newsletter subscribers are also stored with Buttondown. Cloudflare processes requests to the site in order to serve it securely.
Your choices
Email hello@pixelpawproductions.com at any time to see, correct or delete what I hold about you, or to be removed from the list. I'll do it promptly.
Links to Discord, YouTube, Bluesky, TikTok, Instagram, X and itch.io take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies. Videos embedded in devlog posts use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date below.
